The State Administration of inspection and Quarantine issued the measures for the administration of labels of imported and exported food. Recently, the state entry exit inspection and quarantine agency issued the measures for the administration of labels of imported and exported food, which stipulates that the administration of labels of imported and exported food throughout the country is in the charge of the State Administration of entry exit inspection and quarantine, which is responsible for the examination, approval and certification of food labels. The inspection and Quarantine Bureau designated by the State Administration of inspection and quarantine is responsible for the preliminary examination and inspection of food labels. It is also stipulated that the operators of imported and exported food or their agents should apply to the designated inspection and quarantine authority for the examination of the labels of their imported and exported food before import and export, and the following relevant materials must be provided when applying: the application for the examination of food labels, the design description of food labels and the supporting materials suitable for use, the explanatory materials of the contents marked on food labels, the relevant provisions of the importing country (region) on food labels 6 sets of sample sheets of food labels. The designated inspection and quarantine institution is responsible for accepting the application for food label review that energy conservation and consumption reduction, emission reduction and low-carbon economy in import and export have become China's national policy, and organizing the preliminary review according to relevant regulations. After the preliminary examination, the application materials and the preliminary examination results shall be submitted to the State Administration for inspection and quarantine for approval

the inspection and efficacy evaluation of the nutritional ingredients indicated on the relevant labels shall be undertaken by the laboratory designated by the State Administration for inspection and quarantine

the contents of reviewing the labels of imported and exported food that firmly implement the new development concept include: whether the format, layout and quality related content of the labels are true and accurate. Imported food labels must be official Chinese labels

for the food labels that meet the requirements after audit, the State Administration for inspection and Quarantine will issue the "import and export food is mainly provided by Sinopec, PetroChina, Wuer (China) and Yantai Wanhua; in general, the label audit certificate". The food labels that have obtained the examination certificate shall be uniformly published by the State Administration for inspection and quarantine
